Are treatments at Aria Medical Aesthetics safe?
Yes. All services are performed by trained medical professionals using FDA-approved products and devices in a clinical setting.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
During your consultation, our providers will evaluate your concerns and recommend the most effective treatment or combination of treatments for your goals.
Is there downtime after treatments?
Downtime varies depending on the service. Some treatments have little to no downtime, while others may involve mild redness, swelling, or peeling.
How soon will I see results?
Some treatments provide immediate results, while others (such as collagen-stimulating procedures) improve gradually over several weeks.
Do you accept walk-ins or is everything by appointment only?
We recommend appointments to ensure personalized care and availability, though limited same-day openings may be available.
What should I avoid before my appointment?
Avoid alcohol, blood thinners (if medically appropriate), and excessive sun exposure prior to treatment to reduce risk of bruising or sensitivity.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options and financing through CareCredit.
Can I combine multiple treatments in one visit?
Yes, many treatments can be safely combined depending on your skin and goals, which will be determined during your consultation.
Injectables (Botox / Neurotoxins / Fillers)
What is the difference between Botox (neurotoxins) and dermal fillers?
Neurotoxins such as Dysport or Botox relax muscles to reduce dynamic wrinkles, while dermal fillers
restore volume and contour areas like lips, cheeks, and jawline.
How long do injectables last?
Neurotoxins such as Dysport or Botox typically last 3–4 months, while dermal fillers can last 6–18 months depending on the product and treatment area.
Will I look frozen or overfilled?
Our approach is natural-looking enhancement. Treatments are customized to maintain facial expression and balance.
Is there downtime after injectables?
Minimal downtime. Some patients may experience slight swelling, bruising, or tenderness at injection sites.
Injectables / Fillers Add-Ons
How do I prepare for Botox or filler appointments?
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (like aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) 24–72 hours prior if medically safe to do so.
What areas can be treated with dermal fillers?
Common areas include lips, cheeks, jawline, chin, under eyes, and smile lines.
Can Botox prevent wrinkles or only treat existing ones?
Botox can both treat existing wrinkles and help prevent deeper lines from forming over time.
Sculptra
What is Sculptra and how does it work?
Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable that gradually restores facial volume and improves skin quality over time.
When will I see results from Sculptra?
Results develop gradually over several weeks to months as collagen production increases.
Facials (HydraFacial & Medical Grade Facials)
What is a HydraFacial?
A HydraFacial is a multi-step medical-grade facial that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates the skin using specialized serums.
How often should I get a facial?
Most patients see significant benefits from monthly facials to ensure their skin remains healthy and radiant. Our aestheticians will provide tailored recommendations based on your unique skin type.
Are medical-grade facials better than spa facials?
Medical-grade facials use stronger, clinically backed ingredients that target deeper skin concerns for more noticeable results.
Will I break out after a HydraFacial or facial treatment?
Some patients may experience mild purging as skin detoxifies, but this is temporary.
Microneedling with PRP
What is microneedling with PRP?
Microneedling with PRP treatment involves creating tiny, controlled micro-injuries alongside using platelet-rich plasma derived from your own blood. This combination stimulates collagen production and promotes skin rejuvenation, all facilitated by the CosmoPen.
What skin concerns does microneedling treat?
It helps improve acne scars, fine lines, texture, pores, and overall skin tone.
Is PRP safe since it comes from my blood?
Yes, PRP uses your own blood components, making it very safe with minimal risk of allergic reaction.
How long does redness last after microneedling?
Redness typically lasts 24–72 hours depending on skin sensitivity and treatment depth.
Laser Hair Removal
Is laser hair removal permanent?
Laser hair removal significantly reduces hair growth long-term, but occasional maintenance sessions may be needed. Our office utilizes the Alma Soprano Ice Laser Machine for this procedure.
How many sessions will I need?
Most patients require 10-12 sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results.
Is laser hair removal safe for all skin tones?
Yes, with the appropriate laser settings and technology, it can be safely performed on most skin
types.
Can I shave between laser hair removal sessions?
Yes, shaving is allowed and encouraged, but waxing or plucking should be avoided.
Skin Tightening & Resurfacing Lasers
What is skin tightening and how does it work?
Skin tightening treatments use energy-based technology to stimulate collagen and improve skin firmness and elasticity. We provide Tempsure Envi radiofrequency treatments and Ultherapy services.
What does laser skin resurfacing treat?
It improves fine lines, sun damage, scars, uneven texture, and pigmentation for smoother, brighter skin. Our office provides IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photofacials to effectively target facial veins, redness, sunspots, and pigmentation issues. We also offer the Fraxel 1540 laser, which is designed to improve skin texture such as Post-Acne Scarring and reduce fine lines.
Is laser treatment painful?
Most patients describe it as mild heat or tingling. Comfort measures are used to ensure a tolerable experience.
