Lillian Castro, RN- Clinical Coordinator

Lillian brings more than 40 years of experience in the medical sector, with two decades dedicated solely to aesthetic medicine. Her diverse career began as a surgical technician, which inspired her to earn a nursing degree. Throughout her career, she has served as an Operating Room Nurse at several esteemed hospitals in Connecticut, including St. Francis, Hartford Hospital, and the Southington Surgical Center.

Despite her fulfilling experience as an Operating Room Nurse, Lillian harbored a deep passion for aesthetic medicine. She chose to follow her ambition of becoming an Advanced Aesthetic Injector, earning certifications in both basic and advanced techniques from the Aesthetic Enhancement Institute, Epic, and Allergan. This advanced training has equipped her to excel as a cosmetic injector, specializing in neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, along with a diverse array of dermal fillers. Additionally, she holds certifications in Kybella and Micro-Dermal Infusion.

Lillian has been fortunate to receive comprehensive training for several years under a vascular surgeon, focusing on the removal of spider veins through sclerotherapy injections. She holds certification from Cynosure to administer laser and light therapies aimed at skin rejuvenation. Furthermore, Lillian is skilled in a range of other aesthetic treatments, such as PRP therapy, which encourages skin renewal and stimulates hair growth for individuals facing thinning hair.

Lillian excels in customizing treatments to achieve the natural look her client’s desire. Her lively and cheerful demeanor helps to create a comfortable environment, while her professional expertise consistently enhances their overall experience.

Outside of work, Lillian loves spending quality time with her family, traveling with her husband, dancing, and sharing laughter with good friends.

Gillien Peck, Aesthetician

Gillien is a licensed aesthetician trained in various treatments, including HydraFacial’s, facials, chemical peels, waxing, and eyelash and eyebrow services. Gillien is dedicated to making a positive impression on every client she encounters. Her primary objective is to attentively listen to her clients’ desires and needs, enabling her to create a tailored treatment plan that helps them feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. She holds the belief that everyone has the right to feel beautiful in their own skin.

“Being bare faced in the treatment room can feel incredibly vulnerable for some people. It is my goal to make all of my clients feel comfortable and confident in my skills. Not only am I there to provide you with outstanding services but I am also here to listen to your concerns and help make you feel at ease.”

Gillien has been involved in the spa industry since she was just fifteen. One of her greatest sources of pride is her ability to work effectively and safely with all skin types and Fitzpatrick classifications. She is currently working towards an MBA in project management, having graduated in May 2024. While she has taken a step back from the aesthetics industry to apply her business degree at an aerospace company, her passion for aesthetics continues to thrive. She still spends select Saturdays working in the treatment room at Aria!

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her niece, and loves cooking and experimenting with new recipes!

Shelly Kemp, Registered Nurse

Shelly assists clients in reaching their beauty aspirations by utilizing a tailored method that merges advanced technology with holistic wellness concepts. Her distinctive process begins with an in-depth skin analysis, leading to personalized treatment plans designed to enhance appearance while also fostering overall skin health and well-being.

Shelly is a strong advocate for teamwork, striving to ensure that each client achieves the best possible results. She consistently prioritizes her clients’ objectives while providing them with guidance on the most effective strategies to reach those goals.

In addition to her role at Aria Medical Aesthetics, Shelly serves as a Registered Nurse and nursing supervisor at a local hospital. She is also a S.A.F.E. (Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner) for the Office of Victim Services in the State of Connecticut, and she teaches for the City of Waterbury.

Shelly is committed to ongoing education in all areas of nursing, including expanding her knowledge of aesthetic treatments at Aria Medical Aesthetics.

In her free time, Shelly enjoys cherishing moments with her two children, family, and friends. She especially loves to spend her summers at Surfside Beach, SC.

Amy Leduc, Registered Nurse

Amy supports her clients by ensuring they feel at ease during their laser hair removal sessions. She takes the time to explain the procedure, actively addresses their questions and concerns, and tailors her care to meet each individual’s needs.

She is passionate about helping clients boost their self-esteem by addressing specific problem areas and simplifying their lives with reduced maintenance through hair removal. Amy loves when her clients experience the positive results of their treatments and can see the change in their demeanor.

Amy is currently engaged in learning various aesthetic treatments and is eager to practice them at Aria Medical Aesthetics. She holds an associate degree in Nursing from Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College.

When she’s not working, Amy enjoys spending time at the gym or hiking with friends. She has a passion for traveling to new destinations, both near and far, and she delights in cooking and enjoying delicious meals!
